The Anthony J. Drexel Society is a community of donors who, like the founder of our beloved institution, believe in our University’s mission of providing an inclusive, immersive and civically engaged education. They allow the University to address immediate needs and opportunities, like student scholarships, faculty support, emergency funds, facilities and more.
By giving annually at a leadership level, Anthony J. Drexel Society members preserve our founder’s philanthropic legacy while safeguarding the future of the University for our students, faculty and community.
The Anthony J. Drexel Society recognizes donors who contribute $2,500 or more to any area of the University during a fiscal year (July 1 to June 30). Recent undergraduate alumni of the last five years (2021 to 2025) will be recognized with contributions of $500 or more.
In recognition of their steadfast and exemplary generosity, Anthony J. Drexel Society members receive special benefits and communications throughout the year. These include:
- Invitation to annual reception and other exclusive events
- Access to quarterly digital newsletter and other special communications
- Commemorative lapel pin and other signature merchandise

The Anthony J. Drexel Society recognizes philanthropic contributions received during a single fiscal year (July 1 to June 30). This includes outright gifts, pledge payments, matching gifts and gifts through organizations such as donor advised funds, family foundations and trusts.
Your household will be recognized as an Anthony J. Drexel Society member for one calendar year after the date of your qualifying gift.
Yes! Both you and your spouse/partner will be recognized for your philanthropic contributions.
Yes! The Anthony J. Drexel Society recognizes any alumni or friend who generously supports Drexel’s vision for an inclusive, immersive and civically engaged education.
