Foundation and Corporate Relations

The Office of Foundation and Corporate Relations (FCR) builds strong partnerships with private and corporate foundations to grow Drexel's teaching, research, and civic engagement initiatives. We connect Drexel faculty and staff with a variety of funders to expand Drexel’s potential influence as a modern urban research university that is shaping the future.

Foundation and Corporate Relations offers a wide range of support and resources for Drexel faculty and administrators seeking external funding for their academic research and programs. We can:

• Strategize, prioritize and coordinate foundation prospecting and interface
• Match need to funding prospect
• Inform faculty and administrators of available opportunities and timelines
• Review, revise and edit proposals, concept papers, and attachments prior to submission
• Ensure timely grant submissions and reporting to funders
• Coordinate site visits by foundation representatives
• Serve as the point of contact for all foundation partners

Central Office of Foundation and Corporate Relations

This team pursues funding opportunities for Drexel initiatives in arts and humanities, social sciences, engineering, computer science, education, and civic engagement. We work with the College of Arts and Sciences; Westphal College of Media Arts and Design; College of Engineering; College of Computing and Informatics; School of Biomedical Engineering, Science & Health Systems; LeBow College of Business; School of Education; Kline School of Law; Pennoni Honors College; Office of University-Community Partnerships; and interdisciplinary centers and institutes including the Environmental Collaboratory, the Expressive and Creative Interaction Technologies (ExCITe) Center, and the Lindy Institute for Urban Innovation.

Health Sciences Foundation and Corporate Relations

This team serves Drexel’s Health Sciences faculty and staff, including those pursuing research, education, clinical programs and community outreach across our many campuses. We serve the College of Medicine, College of Nursing and Health Professions; Dornsife School of Public Health; Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and Professional Studies; and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. We also support interdisciplinary centers and institutes including the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute, the Spinal Cord Research Center, the Lynn Yeakel Institute for Women's Health & Leadership, the Center for Nonviolence and Social Justice, and others.
